My General

A young teacher of a Moscow college Marina Krasovskaya (LubovTolkalina) is going on a holiday to a hotel not far from Moscow. She is sick and tired of teaching, of her PhD research, her long-standing fiancé Edik. She longs for an adventure, be it detective or romantic, and actually gets both on the very first day of her stay at the hotel. A gust of wind blows off her hat to the pond, and taking it out she finds a drowned man in the water. The name of the man is Chuev, he was one of the guests at the hotel. Though the police believe his death was an accident, Marina has no doubts that the man was murdered, for she has found a clue near the pond… Not knowing with whom to share her suspicions, she finally confides in Fyodor Tuchkov – a guest at the hotel, whom she doesn’t like at first,  but the very next day they become partners and no matter how hard she is trying to resist the temptation – she’s in for a holiday affair.

Several guests fall under suspicion, when it turns up that they have been sailing under false colors. Marina has no other option but to put her trust in Tuchkov – all the more so when she finds out that he is a real professional, an FSB colonel, and it is not by chance that he is staying in that hotel…
